Dabangg is a Hindi content channel that caters to the Northern Indian
states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttaranchal. At a time
when most Hindi language general entertainment channels are aired
at a national level, Dabangg as a regional channel provides audiences
content with a more localized flavor. Two thirds of the channel's
content falls under the comedy category, while a quarter of it falls
under the thriller category that draws from the Sri Adhikari Brothers
